With over 20 years of service and revenue goals set to exceed $1B by year-end, our client has continued year-over-year sustainable growth within the commercial distribution industry, serving as a trusted provider with a variety of products within the dock and door space in more than 20+ locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. To keep pace, we are in search of a Talent Acquisition Specialist that will contribute to the overall growth and development of future leaders and team members within the organization.
This individual will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition efforts. Constant communication with team members to include Senior Leadership, Key Decision Makers, Hiring Managers, and Department Leads will be a part of the day-to-day regularities.
This position is on site, 5 days a week, no remote work.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment and staffing strategies that can effectively fill open job roles in less than 45 days. Provides frequent and concise progress updates to Management on open job requisitions throughout the talent acquisition process.
- Fully understands progressive sourcing strategies and technology solutions that are associated with professional networking, web sourcing, job board utilization, social media, passive talent pools, college/university career channels, military recruitment, and trade school engagements to drive a diverse and engaged pipeline of talent.
- Successfully manages the talent acquisition process using ADP Recruit applicant tracking system. From start to completion, activities include job postings, candidate review and disposition, interviews, pre-employment talent assessments, legal employment requirements, and final selection of the most qualified candidate.
- Follows the company's Talent Acquisition standards of operations to ensure there is a fair, consistent, and cost-effective method and approach in how the company attracts, selects, and onboards talent.
- Understands and delivers on key talent metrics and performance indicators that support the company and HR strategy. Clearly understands how to use and act on HR Analytics and dashboard reports.
- Proudly serve as the brand ambassador at external recruitment events that drive interest and engagement for employment. Manage college/university, military, and trade school recruitment events. Participate in corporate social responsibility efforts and events.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new team members from acceptance of offer through the New Hire Orientation onboarding. Ensures the first impression of the workplace experience is positive for all new hired team members.
- Assists with other talent acquisition administrative duties and special assignments, as identified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in talent acquisition and recruiting of two (2) to three (3) years experience. Preferably Corporate, Sales and Manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrates knowledge on successful sourcing methods that produce positive results and a diverse talent pipeline and candidates.
- Has the knowledge and skill to effectively use technology solutions and platforms.
- Communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills are essential to success.
- Has the ability to manage high volume recruiting that includes detailed workflow processes and deadlines.
- Has the ability and skill to consult and advise with Management. Demonstrates the skill to engage and influence top talented candidates.
