About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with over 8 years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, be proficient in custom development, and possess a proven track record of working in a global environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires flexibility as it involves collaboration with global teams, including participation in off-hours meetings.
Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy customized solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other SFDC components.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure the delivery of scalable and robust solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Integrate Salesforce with other business systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance of the Salesforce environment.
- Work with global teams, requiring participation in off-hours meetings to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across time zones.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to continually enhance the platform's capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer in a global environment.
- Expertise in Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform, including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, including security settings, custom objects, page layouts, workflows, and process automation.
- Proven experience with integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems and platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Salesforce Developer or Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work in off-hours to accommodate global collaboration.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or other Salesforce add-on modules.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
Location: Remote but working Pacific Time hours
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 – $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
