We are hiring a full-time Software Engineer Lead for an established Medical Device company focusing on the expansion into Surgical Robotics. This will be the first U.S. Software Lead and must be based 100% on-site in Dallas, TX (relocation assistance offered.) Candidates must have expertise in C++ development within the Medical Device industry to be considered.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C++ development.
- Proficiency in Qt framework and GUI development.
- Experience in developing software for medical devices, preferably in surgical robotics.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and working in regulated environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, real-time systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
