Job Summary:
As a Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems at our facility. You will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks, utilizing your expertise in construction techniques, low voltage systems, and electrical pipe work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, and wire pulls, to support the needs of the facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Reconfigure electrical systems as needed to accommodate changes in facility layout or equipment configurations.
- Install and maintain switch guards, low voltage systems, and 115 volt/medium voltage systems to support facility operations.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate work activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment inventories.
- Must have experience with all voltage/phase up to 480/3. Service and troubleshooting experience a must!
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician license eligible in New York State.
- EPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience as an electrician, with a strong background in construction techniques and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, wire pulls, and electrical pipe work.
- Knowledge of switch guards, low voltage systems, and 115 volt/medium voltage systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
