Conference Operations Manager
W2 Contract 6 Months

Our GPUs are a computer brain at the exciting intersection of artificial intelligence, high performance computing, and virtual reality. The Corporate Marketing Events team is responsible for conceptualizing/driving high-impact events for our partners and users around. This position will support our biggest conferences and tradeshows.
Our biggest tech conference showcases the latest breakthroughs from universities, major enterprises and startups. It has been lauded by press and attendees throughout the world for its deep technical dive into the innovations that our technology have enabled for business and institutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, graphics, healthcare, robotics, smart cities and more.
What you’ll be doing:
- Event planning and execution with the conference team
- Very high-level speaker management (many C-level), VIP program management
- Lead content development for conference topics – manage content review teams, session scheduling and review, speaker guidance on presentation best practices
- Overseeing the speaker experience end-to-end. Managing all speaker communication, speaker resources & facilitation of speaker webinars and office hours
- Operational support – room management, coordination between the conference content and production team (ensuring session AV requests and panel requirements are planned and managed)
- Support cross functional teams including operations, sales and marketing
What we need to see:
- 5+ years of conference logistics, operations and systems experience. RainFocus / another conference system experience useful
- 5+ years of experience coordinating and communicating with high-level/C-level speakers and their teams
- Strong balance of technical savvy and interpersonal skills
- Warm, clear, timely, responsive communication
- You can multi-task, be detailed oriented while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to work independently and with minimal direction, and your ability to show initiative and deliver results will impress your peers and leaders
