Job Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service. This includes answering calls, directing them as needed, addressing visitor inquiries, and providing a welcoming environment. Additionally, the Receptionist will assist the Executive Assistant with office administrative duties and offer occasional support to other departments when necessary.
The role requires a high level of professionalism and sensitivity to clients' needs, while maintaining adherence to the company's policies and procedures. Building supportive relationships with clients, staff, and external entities is key to ensure access to necessary resources for comprehensive client services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them accordingly
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls
- Address visitor questions and needs
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and other departments as required
- Maintain a welcoming environment for all clients and visitors
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining excellent customer service
The key qualifications/experience we are looking for are:
Bilingual Spanish is required. Experience working in an office setting and/or customer service environment
Strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills
Must have excellent customer service skills, as this role directly interacts with clients and their caregivers.
One of the following equivalents:
AA degree in related field and minimum 2 years relevant work experience
High school diploma & 1- 4 years related work experience in a mental health/non-profit agency
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) system (ideally Exym, which is what we use)
Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of DMH systems and procedures
Knowledge of the Integrated System and Medi-Cal billing
Payrate- $20-24hr
Hours: Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
