Job Title: General Manager with construction experience.
Overview:
We seek an experienced Construction General Manager with a strong background in construction management, team development, and P&L expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing and directing operations, working closely with various Department Managers and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish. This role requires a strategic thinker who can formulate policies, manage daily operations, and drive company success through effective leadership and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with Department Managers to streamline project operations and achieve company goals.
- Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction or program improvement.
- Directly oversee the Administrative Department to ensure excellent client service.
- Coordinate financial and budget activities with the Finance Department to optimize operations and investments.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in collaboration with staff members.
- In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, perform personnel functions, including selection, training, and evaluation.
- Oversee the development of marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions, with the Office Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Provide recommendations to the Owner and make staffing decisions to maintain company standards and operations.
- Uphold company standards, ethics, employee morale, and values, taking necessary actions to address deficiencies.
