About the role:
-Direct path to President of this business unit (planned growth)
-Must have Big Box 3PL/4PL experience
-Must have international maritime and air logistics experience (facilities servicing local business in California, Hawaii, Guam, and Vietnam)
-Must also be comfortable with freight, rail, and other transport methods.
-Leadership: 15 sites (each with a General manager and full staff) as well as full corporate staff for each functional area. (very well supported role, but must have a grasp of large team leadership)
Job Description:
The position of Vice President, Operations will have primary responsibility responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all operational functions, with a focus on enhancing productivity, minimizing costs, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our business.
Location: This is an in-office role based in Fullerton, CA.
Approximately 25% travel is anticipated.
In This Role, You Will Provide Strategic Leadership and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives with senior leadership to establish operational goals, targets, and KPIs aligned with the company's overall strategy strategic direction and guidance to department heads and operational teams.
