UX/UI Designer

Pay rate: $45-$50/hr
Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid; 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: contract until end of 2024
This position will be responsible for developing UI / Visual Design shown on our website. Designs will be in answer to briefs / requests that come into the 'Sales Discovery' team acting as the top end of the funnel for the customer journey on site. The projects span Marketing, Offers creative, New products, Sports offerings, Streaming partners information and more. The role will be crucial in delivering on DXP and POR commitments, relating to Sales & Marketing requests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, developing & producing holistic digital experiences
- Advocate for the user while working closely with product managers to strategically solve complex problems
- Create flows, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to define and communicate end-to-end user experiences
- Works independently with minimal-to-no supervision while also demonstrating the ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously.
- Drives user-centric, iterative, and collaborative design process revolving around rapid prototyping, user research, continuous improvement & deployment
- Contributes to coherent visual and interaction designs across flows and channels
- Work with UX research to plan user testing sessions and translate research findings into future design deliverables
- Conducts stakeholder interviews, analyzes customer feedback, usability and research user behavior to enhance existing products.
- Collaborate with the product team to evaluate and prioritize features balancing business and end user needs
- Participate in and/or organize design workshops to drive discovery and better understand the user's needs
- Confidently present UX/UI designs to stakeholders, users, and development teams in formal and informal settings.
The Ideal Match:
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Experience working as a UX/UI designer on digital, web, and mobile projects
- Experience with web development and CMS systems a plus
- Lives and breathes Figma
- An attitude that is proactive, analytical, and organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of marketing
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
