Job Description
Role: Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by implementing and optimizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a Lean Six Sigma strategy that aligns with organizational goals. Oversee the deployment of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques across all operational areas, including manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution.
Team Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by providing training, coaching, and mentorship to employees at all levels. Design and implement training programs that empower employees to identify and eliminate waste, enhance quality, and optimize processes.
Process Optimization: Analyze processes to identify and eliminate waste, reduce defects, and improve cycle times. Lead complex improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework.
Capacity Planning: Align capacity with demand to optimize resource utilization and minimize bottlenecks. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand, develop strategies to boost sales, and expand market share.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Implement systems and processes to monitor compliance and address any non-conformities effectively.
Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and delivery performance. Develop and track metrics and performance indicators to monitor progress and identify areas for enhancement.
