Electrical Service Contract Manager
A central Indiana electrical contractor is searching for a Service Department Contract Manager. The Contract Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the completion of electrical projects from the scoping phase to the invoicing phase.
Duties of this role include:
*The ability to communicate effectively with clients and help determine the scope of work for estimating purposes.
*Develop cost estimates, project schedules and proposals for client approval after approval from internal management.
*Accurately estimate projects using estimating software.
*Interface with health, safety and internal management teams to ensure project meets all internal and external requirements before transmitting proposal to client.
*Collect process data, equipment information and specifications in the field as necessary.
*Ability to evaluate project costs and devise ways to reduce inefficiencies.
*Track project costs, delivery schedules and develop detailed and accurate budgeting outlining sunk costs.
*Interface with internal management for manpower loading and availability.
*Work with vendors and sub-contractors.
*Review contracts and be able to minimize risk exposure.
Requirements:
Completion of 5-year electrical apprenticeship or associated degree in construction management or other related engineering field.
Minimum of 2-years of Project Management, Construction Management or Field Management experience.
Ability to use software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project 2016.
Develop an understanding of electrical terms, symbols and code requirements.
Be able to read blueprints, specifications and site-specific safety documents.
Experience with P&ID development and process design
Ability to understand processes through reviewing an engineering drawing or physical equipment.
Independent, innovative and confident thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks based on multiple project milestones.
Ability to work in a fast paced and less structured environment.
Anticipate potential problems and maintain project schedule.

Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000
