We are looking for a Superintendent in North Carolina or South Carolina that has experience with ground up commercial projects. Our client is an established commercial general contractor that is headquartered in South Carolina and a strong pipeline of projects coming up throughout the state. But we also have some other potential options so if you are a Superintendent with experience working for a commercial general contractor then we might have another opening that would fit you,
Title: Superintendent
Start Date: Flexible, but the sooner the better
Location: North and South Carolina - Travel throughout the state
Pay Range: Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $90-120k
Market Sector: Commercial Construction
*Prior experience as a Superintendent for a General Contractor is required*
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Various other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years' experience managing ground up construction projects
- Experience running ground up projects from start until finish
- Proficient with Procore and Microsoft Office
- Driver's License and good driving record
