Job Title: Manager of SAP Systems
Client: A $6 billion industry leader
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager of SAP Systems to lead our migration from ECC to S/4 HANA. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition and optimizing our SAP landscape to support our business goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP management, extensive experience with S/4 HANA migrations, and the ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migration Leadership: Oversee and manage the end-to-end migration process from ECC to S/4 HANA, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the SAP S/4 HANA migration, including resource allocation, project timelines, and risk management.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of SAP professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all SAP-related matters, communicating project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance SAP processes and functionalities to align with business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with SAP vendors and consultants, ensuring their deliverables meet the company’s standards and project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a managerial role overseeing SAP systems for US-based clients, with a strong background in leading SAP migrations.
- S/4 HANA Expertise: Proven experience with S/4 HANA implementations and migrations, including understanding of best practices and potential challenges.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP modules, architecture, and integration points, with a solid understanding of ECC and S/4 HANA differences.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, including project planning, execution, and resource management.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a complex SAP environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
