Please note: This role can be located in Billerica, MA, Aurora, IL, Colorado Springs, CO, or Chaska, MN and will work a hybrid schedule.
The role:
Entegris is seeking a SAP Procurement Business Analyst to join the Procurement Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting our users and implementing SAP at new sites. The Business Analyst will be the bridge between team members and IT to translate gaps and enhancements into functional requirements for the technical team. The successful candidate has strong procurement knowledge and enjoys collaborating across IT and business departments. This role will also be Business Security Owner for Purchasing roles.
What you'll do:
- Provide governance and ensure maintenance of Purchasing Master data
- Provide SAP training to other COE team members, Buyers and Buyer managers
- Provide solutions aligned with SAP best practices and leveraging SAP functionality to support business objectives like Inventory optimization, on-time delivery improvements etc
- Maintain documentation (ETQ) and training related to SAP procurement transactions
- Participate in SAP project implementations where duties include some business process design, solution design, master data, testing and production issue resolution
- Support SAP implementation at new sites for procurement (Master data, PO cut-over, training on SAP topics)
- Enable communication between business and technology teams translating business process gaps and enhancement requests into requirements for the IT teams
- Assist with prioritization of configuration changes and new features, perform testing
- Participate in system projects and enhancements (example: RCCP/IBP deployment), RPA activities and Data Analytics (for example taxonomy implementation, guidance on SAP reports) and service tickets
- Provide guidance and expertise for internal controls over Purchasing systems, share best practices, and increase awareness of and compliance with SOX requirements
- Business Security Owner for Purchasing roles
What we seek:
- Bachelor's Degree, technical equivalent or work experience required
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst on IT system development projects, documenting requirements, business process modeling, and user story creation
- 3 + years of demonstrated ability in SAP supply chain configuration, functional experience with SAP and Purchasing/Supply Chain
- Proficient in SAP Material Management (MM) required
- Experienced in Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Kanban and Plant Maintenance (PM) preferred
- Strong scoping/estimation, problem-solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues
- Demonstrated knowledge of Source-To-Pay functional interactions with other modules
- Proficient understanding of purchasing process – Procure-to-Pay, PO management, RTV, Schedule Agreement, etc…
- Understanding of important systems that integrate to SAP such as Warehouse Management, Vendor EDI, Ariba and Payments
- Record of working with users to analyze current processes and assist users in making the best use of systems
- Experience in supporting Internal Audit activities, including security, risk assessment, and confidential operational and business process reviews within SAP Purchasing Platform
- Candidate should have strong fundamentals and maturity in the overall supply chain ecosystem
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision
- The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally (3-4 times per year )

- Compensation: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 based on experience
