The General Manager (GM) will oversee all aspects of the TRX Training Center's operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, member satisfaction, and overall profitability. The GM will be responsible for strategic planning, staff management, financial oversight, and the implementation of effective marketing and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the training center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service.
- Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Staff Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of fitness professionals, including coaches, administrative staff, and support personnel.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the center's budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure exceptional member experiences by maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Address member concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement programs and services that meet the evolving needs of members.
Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Oversee sales processes, including membership sales, personal training packages, and special programs.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to achieve the center's growth and development goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations, incorporating best practices into the center's operations.
- Build partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance the center's visibility and reputation.
TRX Coach
- Conduct TRX Training Sessions: Lead by example and deliver the optimal group and individual TRX suspension training and circuit experiences.
- Program Design: Develop customized TRX workout programs and templates to roll out to the Coaches
- Client Assessment: Develop a client onboarding & assessment plan
- Education and Demonstration: Educate clients on the benefits of TRX training, proper use of equipment, and correct exercise techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional recognized and accredited Fitness Certification & CPR/AED
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Passion for fitness and wellness, with a deep understanding of TRX Training principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Interest and ability to coach within the Center would be a bonus.
