A company in the Groveport area is currently seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate would provide an understanding of compliance field surveys relating to pipelines under CFR 192. This person would be primarily focused on NE Ohio assets. The selected candidate will be required to perform the job functions necessary to keep our clients in compliance with the regulations and requirements associated with 49 CFR Part 192. The Operations department, including this position, also serves all other departments within the company with various tasks.
Create budgets, proposals, and complete projects to maintain customer compliance under CFR 49 Part 192 and customer agreements.
• Serve as customer representative on regulatory pipeline safety inspections and audits as required.
• Provide supervision over Engineering Technicians.
• Participate on project teams in the planning, design, construction, and project management.
• Interaction/communication and coordination with multidiscipline teams, including clients, sub-contractors, various local/state/federal governing agencies, etc.
• Review reads/surveys performed by technicians.
• Generate completion reports on projects and compliance activities.
• Mentoring fellow employees whenever possible
