Crowe & Dunlevy has an opening for a legal secretary in our Oklahoma City location. Candidates should have experience in providing legal and administrative support for assigned attorneys and paralegals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervising attorneys, paralegals, or the Director of Human Resources & Administrative Services.
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, complaints, motions, subpoenas, contracts, etc. and correspondence of a legal nature.
Perform various other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing incoming mail, maintaining files and other records, scanning and photocopying materials, time entry and billing, maintaining client information and keeping current with attorney's existing work for clients.
Assist attorneys and paralegals with trial preparation, document production and review, and other administrative needs.
Requires strong computer and research skills. Must have good attendance, be punctual and reliable. Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain good customer service skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
