Position: Paralegal/Secretary
Job Description: Boutique law firm in Playa Del Rey seeks a paralegal/legal secretary position to join their team. The ideal paralegal/legal secretary comes from 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation and has strong federal and state filing knowledge, can draft various legal documents including motions, pleadings, letters, and notices, and has assisted with propounding and responding to discovery.
Job Duties:
- Trial preparation (exhibit binders, witness lists, trial notebooks)
- Draft and edit various legal documents (motions, briefs, complaints, discovery, letters, motion, pleadings, forms, correspondence)
- Maintain attorneys' calendars for internal and court deadlines
- Schedule clients for conferences, depositions, mediations
- Physical and e-filing for state and federal
- Schedule court hearings and procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal/legal secretary required
