As a crucial member of the organization, the EG4 Solar Installation Technical Support role assumes the vital role of training our installer network, so they are fully competent utilizing our products in all environments that are applicable to our suite of products. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of EG4 solar equipment.
Additionally, as a secondary role they must be able to serve as a liaison for technical inquiries and assistance within our Installer network. With excellent communication skills and a proven ability to comprehend and resolve issues, they will provide unparalleled customer support. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, they will handle incoming phone calls and emails, troubleshoot equipment issues, and effectively address customer inquiries. Their expertise lies in examining, questioning, and resolving intricate technical problems with precision and proficiency.
A successful candidate must be able to:
- Present course curriculum in a clear and concise method, that is easily absorbed by the end user.
- Assist with Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to EG4 solar products
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team in connection with servicing Installer needs.
- Adapt quickly to changes in course curriculum based on emerging products and regulations.
- Deliver unparalleled customer service, whether it be face-to-face, over the phone, or through email, including managing conversations with dissatisfied customers that may escalate into stressful situations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced customer support environment, equipped with the capability to assess, question, and troubleshoot technically intricate issues.
- Able to write technical sales scripts and articulate the type of slides needed for an effective pitch deck.
- Speak in front of audiences large and small. ( not afraid to learn if limited in experience)

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of solar installation experience: Familiarity with full solar installations, wiring, and system configuration. Residential or Commercial.
- Strong communication skills: Comfortable talking to customers, explaining technical concepts, hosting seminars and providing clear instructions.
- Customer-focused mindset: Committed to delivering exceptional service and resolving customer issues promptly.
- Electrical expertise: Master or Journeyman electricians preferred, though not required.
- Willingness to travel: Field-based role with travel across the West Coast for on-site support.
