OVERVIEW
Provides Mechanical Engineering leadership in a small and dynamic cross-functional team to design for manufacturability. The Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer is expected to develop processes, assembly procedures and test acceptance procedures for the electro-mechanical design of downhole tool mechanical design of sub-assemblies, and components. While also identifying opportunities to outsource specific tasks and work to improve vendor quality. Deliverables include high-performance enclosures for sensors and electronics that perform in high temperature and pressure conditions of Oil & Gas Wells. Wireline/LWD/MWD product work experience preferred. This position is fully responsible for all mechanical aspects of the product from specifications to prototype integration and testing, following a fast-track product development process, then setting up a process for manufacturing build.
