Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Professional Engineer to lead our team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding projects to successful completion through your leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional organizational skills. You will ensure that structural analyses, designs, and calculations are produced accurately and on time, and you will play a key role in reviewing and managing project contracts and related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters to achieve project goals.
- Produce structural analyses, designs, calculations, and details with precision and timeliness.
- Review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents with a strong understanding of contractual language.
- Manage project deliverables to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients, aiming for high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure that your work and your team’s work make a positive impact on the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California (Civil or Structural).
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
- Proven management experience.
- Experience performing structural engineering calculations for residential, commercial, educational, and/or solar projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D.
- Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
