Our client is an esteemed global top 50 AM Law firm, they are seeking a talented mid-senior level attorney to join its highly regarded Financial Restructuring group.
The team represent creditors, investors and distressed companies in all types of in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters around the world.
Areas of focus include representing first and second lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and other creditors; acting in contested U.S. and multinational insolvencies, restructurings and bankruptcies; handling multidisciplinary cross-border deals that have secured their reputation as a leader in Latin America and Eastern Europe.
The practice is top ranked by Global Restructuring Review, Turnarounds & Workouts, Chambers & Partners and other leading industry guides and publications.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should possess 2-6 years experience in bankruptcy and restructuring
- NY or CA Bar admission required
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an acredited law school
Experience:
- Appearing before trial and appellate courts in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 matters
- Substantive experience in representing creditors, investors, distressed companies and other stakeholders in large scale, complex U.S. and cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
- Candidate must have excellent academic credentials and large law firm experience
