Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale software implementation project aimed at overhauling a tax software system. This is a high-impact role where you will manage the project from start to finish, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Manage: Oversee the project schedule and timeline for a three-phase tax software implementation.
- Collaborate: Ensure all cross-functional teams are aligned and working towards project milestones.
- Coordinate: Partner with the Vendor Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate: Work closely with stakeholders across the enterprise and provide regular status updates to executives and leadership.
- Organize: Manage the project plan in Jira, capturing all work down to the task level and user stories/epics.
- Build Relationships: Utilize your phenomenal communication and soft skills to form strong relationships and build trust quickly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience managing multi-phase software implementation projects.
- Expertise: Proven track record with enterprise software implementations and high-visibility projects.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience working with senior leadership up to the VP level.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira and experience with SAP (SAP ECC, FICO, Finance, or Tax preferred).
- Leadership: Strong ownership mentality, confidence to speak up, and the ability to share concerns proactively.
