Job Purpose
This role will be responsible for the daily management of order entry and allocation/pick ticket generation for all customer purchase orders, communicate with sales, production, and third-party logistics providers daily to ensure accurate and timely allocation of inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Review and enter customer sales orders and perform order change and order cancellation processing and bulk reductions
- Continuously manage open orders for all customer types
- Responsible for the daily allocation of inventory
- Select pick ticket creating based on inventory availability and customer prioritization to ensure on time delivery
- Review and enter sales orders
- Manage daily open order reports
- Monitor the open pick ticket report for timely shipping
- Communicate and coordinate with sales and 3PL’s
- Resolve allocation and short shipping situations working with the sales team as needed
- For non-EDI 3PL’s generate and send all required pick ticket documentation and labels as needed
- Manual invoice generation
- Any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by department manager
- Perform customer master entry and maintenance
