Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Chief Operations Officer. The ideal candidate will be established and experienced with visionary thinking and strategic management skills which will include planning, directing, building, reporting, and budgeting. The COO will support the growth of organization by continuing to build and maintain the operational and talent infrastructure necessary to support and oversee high-performing public, college-preparatory schools. Key Responsibilities
Operations:
- Collaborate with the CEO to establish and accomplish organizational goals, objectives and to continue the codifying of our strategic plan, exploring growth opportunities and identifying key risks and success factors
- Lead the strategic planning for and implementation of all core operational functions including compliance, risk management, contracts, facilities management, data and information systems management, and food and transportation services
- Maintain user-friendly tools (i.e. a data dashboard) for the organization for internal and external use and train others so data can be automatically aggregated and reported
- Lead and manage the operations team which includes the following functions: operations, technology, human resources, and staff recruitment
- Oversee the human resource function, and work with the Director of Human Resources with the development and implementation of effective recruiting, hiring, compensation, benefits, and training
- Work with the Network Operations Manager (NOM) to review relationships with external service providers to ensure that all services are being provided completely and effectively
- Together with the NOM, ensure the provision of food and facilities services for all schools in the network and work with site's business managers in overcoming campus-based challenges to the effective delivery of these and other operational services
- Oversee the Network Technology Manager ensuring that there is proper technology planning and support for our schools
- Manage the Network Operations Manager, ensuring that all student data submissions made to the state, authorizer, and granting entities are made in a timely fashion and with accuracy
- Maintain custody of leases, operational contracts, and other similar documents and instruments relating to our schools
- Report on operations to the Board of Directors
