Disruptive Technology for Mapping
We are seeking a skilled full stack engineer to lead the development of our new map data infrastructure and navigation applications, creating innovative mapping experiences globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop the next-generation map data platform.
- Work across the entire maps stack, from data processing to rendering.
- Rapidly prototype in-app and in-car mapping experiences.
- Design scalable systems for large data volumes.
- Collaborate with Platform, R&D, Design, and Mobile App teams on real-time 3D data experiences.
Requirements
- Expertise in maps and computational geometry data.
- Strong skills in data structures and algorithms for navigation solutions.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (backend and frontend).
- Experience in building and deploying map data products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CarPlay or Android Auto.
- Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C.
- Familiarity with Spark/Hadoop and Python.
- Experience in large-scale remote sensing applications.
