Job Summary:
The IAM (Identity and Access Management) DevOps Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of identity and access management solutions within the organization. This role combines expertise in IAM systems with DevOps practices to ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of the company's IAM infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the IAM DevOps team, providing direction, mentoring, and professional development.
- Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to align IAM strategies with organizational goals
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within the IAM domain.
IAM Development and Operations:
- Design, develop, and maintain IAM solutions including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and access governance.
- Implement DevOps practices to streamline the deployment and management of IAM systems.
- Ensure IAM systems are integrated with other IT infrastructure and applications.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure IAM solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for identity and access management.
Automation and Optimization:
- Automate IAM workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Optimize IAM systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate IAM solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
Incident Management:
- Lead incident response for IAM-related security incidents.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incident resolution.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in identity and access management.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IAM protocols and standards SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
- Experience with IAM tools and platforms Okta, Sailpoint, Microsoft Azure AD, Delinea.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation Java, Python, PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS, Azure.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant IAM certifications.
- Experience with Zero Trust security models.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
