Process Improvement Consultant - Warehouse Optimization
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is facing challenges with their warehouse operations and is seeking a consultant to lead two work streams—one operational and the other financial—to drive performance improvements. The company is committed to optimizing warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
They are looking for a consultant with experience in warehouse or distribution center process improvement to help them streamline operations. While deep expertise isn’t required, practical experience in similar projects will be essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on operational work and is passionate about making impactful changes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Workstream: Analyze and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, optimize layout, and reduce bottlenecks.
- Financial Workstream: Collaborate on cost reduction initiatives, track performance metrics, and ensure financial targets are aligned with operational improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations and implement solutions to optimize day-to-day operations.
- Travel to Waco, TX, for on-site work 3-4 days a week to directly observe operations and lead initiatives.

- Rate: US$125–US$150 per hour

Qualifications:
- Experience with process improvement in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
