Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Operations Associate at Northwestern Mutual in Red Bank, NJ. The Investment Operations Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to managing Financial Advisor's investment portfolios, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the leadership team and financial advisors.
- Liaison between Northwestern Mutual clients and our Investment Services team, outreach, follow ups, scheduling and tracking.
- Knowledge of investment operations, insurance, financial services, financial advisory and asset management.
- Experience in client relations management transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare or collaborate with others on the creation of client plans aligned with planning best practices and assumptions.
- Experience with risk product illustrations, proposals, Investment Policy Statements, etc
- Experience with existing plans, in-force ledgers and if applicable Morningstar, NMCIR, current Investment Policy statement, performance reports and marketing materials
- Process, or collaborate with others to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests, etc
Qualifications
- Life and Health licensed. SIE and Investment Series 7 licensing preferred.
• 2 years' experience within Finance industry.
• 2 years' experience within Client Services.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
