As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the big box retail construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget, managing costs and resources effectively.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the big box retail construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.
- PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.
