JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking an IT Procurement Analyst for a 6M C2H opportunity located in Addison, TX (onsite 5-days per week). The IT Procurement Analyst will manage all aspects of purchasing and efficiently / cost-effectively support IT operations across the global landscape. The IT Procurement Analyst must have experience generating purchase orders for IT equipment, tools, parts / supplies, vendor / supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and IT resource acquisitions. The IT Procurement Analyst will manage the full IT asset lifecycle, IT licensing, and management and procurement of third-party services to optimize the delivery of services.
- Source Equipment / Goods / Services with Vendor Identification / Management
- Review Purchase Requisitions / Interface with Suppliers to Obtain Product Information (Price / Availability / Delivery Schedule, etc.)
- Receive Price Quotes from Vendors / Compare Quote Against Requirements / Budget / Purchase Orders
- Negotiate Purchase Orders / Close Deals with Optimal Terms
- Verify Receipt of Items - Comparing Items Received to Items Ordered
- Support Development / Implementation of New Purchasing Strategies to Deliver Ongoing Reductions / Process Simplification, etc.
- Review Bid Proposals / Negotiates Contract within Budgetary Limitations / Scope of Authority
- Manage Purchasing / Receiving / Invoice Processing Utilizing Appropriate ERP / Procurement Tools
- Assist in Managing Vendor Partnerships / Relationships to Ensure Optimal Pricing / Services
- Maintain Positive / Cooperative Communication with Stakeholders
- Work with IT Management to Develop / Define IT Asset Standards / Administrative Best Practices
- Develop / Maintain IT Customer Portals / Workflows to Develop Standardized Procurement Practices
- Track Contracts Across Contractual Lifecycles - Assist IT Management in Contact Negotiation / Management / Renewal Process
- Maintain IT Pricing / Preferred Vendor Listings for Global IT Procurement
- Suggest Procurement Process / Vendor Management Optimization Opportunities - Working Toward Enhancing IT Value / Cost Savings
- Generate Relevant / Appropriate Budgetary Cost / Spending Reporting on a Regular Cadence - Ensure Proper IT Budgetary Tracking
- Process Invoices Based on Accounting Policies / Customer Invoicing Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS- IT Procurement Analyst (5+ years) - Purchasing in a Sub-Contract / Manufacturing / Project Environment
- Supply Chain Management (strong knowledge)
- Sourcing / Vendor Management (familiarity)
- Gathering / Analyzing Data
- MS Office Suite - Excel (strong knowledge)
