This is a Part-Time Position - 30 hours a week for a the first 8 weeks, and 20 hours a week for the remainder of the contract.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the data migration efforts for a divestiture. This role will be pivotal in planning, scoping, and overseeing the migration of data from various systems, ensuring compliance, collaboration, and alignment between multiple stakeholders, including IT, Legal, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) within the life sciences industry, coupled with expertise in managing data migration processes across systems such as Veeva eQMS, O365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Mail), Oracle, and ComplianceWire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all data migration activities related to the divestiture.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Legal, and QA teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain alignment with IT teams to ensure consistent progress and issue resolution.
- Define the migration process, scope, and timeline for data transition between systems.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with data migration, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalation of issues and concerns, working to resolve critical migration challenges efficiently.
- Drive progress across the migration workstream, ensuring that deadlines are met and stakeholders are regularly updated on project status.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance throughout the migration process.
- Oversee final testing and validation of migrated data to ensure successful transitions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Program Manager, specifically in M&A or data migration projects within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong knowledge and experience with systems such as Veeva eQMS, O365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Mail), Oracle, and ComplianceWire.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle escalations and critical migration tasks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the life sciences sector.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across IT, Legal, QA, and other teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with divestitures and system separations during M&A transactions.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
