Kalahari Development is a division of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions which acts as an internal construction management firm. The Development team is responsible for taking project ideas from the Executive team and managing them through the entire design & construction process. This includes new site development, ground-up construction projects as well as remodeling projects and large-scale facilities maintenance projects
We are inviting you to apply for the Senior Construction Project Manager position. In this role, you would be expected to manage projects by ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, with limited direction and oversight from the executive team. Additionally, you’ll prepare high level estimates and preliminary project schedules based on conceptual or schematic level drawings, prepare RFP’s and contracts for design, construction, and procurement services, oversee contractors throughout the construction process, review invoices and pay applications prior to payment and manage the closeout process. You’ll also be inspecting construction-in-progress to ensure the design objectives are being met and schedules are being maintained. You’ll achieve this by reviewing documents with design and construction team partners to ensure the owner’s best interests are met during the process.
