Role Description
We seek Drilling Solutions Engineer experienced with downhole drilling tools. The position will involve the testing of new products, perform failure investigations, and evaluate the performance of materials or components. Additionally, the candidate will monitor the fleet’s performance, identify trends, and implement opportunities for improvement. Working within a small group in a rapidly growing company offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities to learn and grow.
Qualifications
· Write Technical Reports (e.g., failure analysis, equipment, and materials performance studies).
· Assist with Engineering Testing (R&D, Sustaining).
· Maintain, and monitor engineering quality databases.
· Collaborate with DSE group and other districts during investigations into failure root cause analysis.
· Monitoring and reporting on tool and component condition.
· Technical liaison for critical vendors regarding manufacturing, repair, and inspection.
· Maintain and monitor engineering quality databases.
· Assist with the writing and implementation of Technical Bulletins, and changes of processes.
· Assist with the development of procedures for quality control, document control, and product testing
· Drive quality improvement.
· Other duties as required.
