Position: Field Services Engineer
Location: Chandler, AZ
Duration: 1 year contract with extension, conversion to FTE in the future
Target Pay rate: Level 1 $24-27/hr Level 2 $27-32/hr
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
- If in Sherman, Texas site
- Open to working 60 hour work week at least 1-2x per month
- 5-8+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Prior team lead experience
- Excellent customer interface skills is required
- Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
- Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures are required
Preferred:
- 2-4 College Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, and/or Chemical fields and/or past military
- background in the same fields
- If no degree, must have High School Diploma and solid background of at least 8+ years in the semiconductor field
Role Overview:
The candidates for this role are more elite and higher level than any of the other FSE roles. They must have a high level of mechanical aptitude to pass a hands-on test for this role. HM is looking for critical thinkers and resolution-based minds who can find the answer. The candidates should have good written and spoken skills as clear and concise communications with our customer is a must. Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment problems, maintains records and reports as required. Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. Orders and installs parts, respond to emergency service calls as required. Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed. Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials. Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both TEA and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s).
