Software Engineer - PLC

A key customer of Talos is looking for a software engineer to join them on a direct hire basis. Our customer is a leader in the field of machinery automation and has long term partnerships in place with many automotive and aerospace customers.
As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing standardized software modules, user interfaces and deploying third-party libraries when necessary.
What will you need in order to be considered?
- Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- Development experience with high level programming languages such as C++/C#, Python and JavaScript.
- SQL database or relational database management skills is beneficial.
- A background of working in a Visual Studio environment.
- Practical experience of PLC programming and the ability to read electrical drawings are both beneficial.
- The ability to live and work in the US without restrictions or the need for sponsorship.
