Job DescriptionPersonal Injury law firm seeking a motivated and experienced case manager. This position will require ordering medical records, signing up clients, opening property damage claims and managing the case. We are seeking someone with at least 2 years experience in the area of personal injury. Bilingual abilities a plus.
Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to update them on the status of their case, address their questions or concerns, and gather necessary information.
- Case Coordination: Collaborate with legal staff to ensure effective case progression.
- Document Management: Collect, organize, and maintain all relevant case documents, including medical records, accident reports, witness statements, and other pertinent information.
- Insurance Coordination: Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, status updates, and negotiations.
- Case Evaluation: Assist attorneys in evaluating the merits of a case, identifying its strengths and weaknesses.
- Records Maintenance: Ensure that all case management systems and databases are updated regularly with the latest information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the litigation team in the event a case proceeds to court, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry best practices, legal decisions, and regulations relevant to pre-litigation.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Expected hours: 40 per week
