Short Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Turnpike Commission (PTC) is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant to coordinate and take the lead role for the technical and functional development and support of the assigned requests, projects, and tasks for functionalities within SAP HCM. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of delivering services via SAP HCM for projects of various sizes and subject matters, 5+ years of designing and debugging SAP related interfaces, and 5+ years of designing business processes for HCM implementation.

Required Skills/Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience delivering services via SAP HCM for projects of various sizes and subject matters
- 5+ years of experience with SAP HCM in SAP ECC 6.0 Functional experience as a Functional / Product Specialist on projects of various size and subject matter
- 5+ years of experience designing and debugging SAP related interfaces
- 5+ years of experience designing business processes for HCM implementation
- 5+ years of experience working on hands-on SAP HCM implementation projects as a functional or technical lead
- 5+ years of experience working with, and giving presentations to, senior leadership and stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience working on prior support and enhancements project as a functional or technical lead
- 5+ years of experience coding and configuring SAP HCM
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow in ITSM, Idea, Project, and Demand module
- 5+ years of experience utilizing ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft ADO Testing Module
- 3+ years of experience working in a Business Analyst capacity

Complete Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Turnpike Commission (PTC) is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant to coordinate and take the lead role for the technical and functional development and support of the assigned requests, projects, and tasks for functionalities within SAP HCM. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of delivering services via SAP HCM for projects of various sizes and subject matters, 5+ years of designing and debugging SAP related interfaces, and 5+ years of designing business processes for HCM implementation.
The Senior SAP HCM Consultant will be tasked to:
- Coordinate and take the lead role for the technical/functional development
- Support the assigned requests, projects, and tasks for various functionalities within SAP HCM
- Perform SAP Personnel Administration duties
- Configure infotypes, enterprise, organizational and personnel structures
- Set up new Benefit plans
- Configure standard SAP programs like HRBEN0052
- Work projects like implementing a new benefit vendor
- Configure 1095-Cs
- Conduct SAP Payroll
- Configure wage types, Financial (FI) postings, 3rd party posting, remuneration statements
- Work with ABAP developers to design/maintain interfaces
- Test with 3rd party vendors
- Run LSMW (mass data loads) loads for various infotypes
- Complete assigned request items, tasks, and projects independently
- Ensure a mutual understanding of the request and the proposed approach/response between both the PTC and the Contractor before beginning work on a request
- Coordinate and execute all development aspects including reports, integrations, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, and enhancements
- Document requirements, or user stories in detail, as determined by the PTC, within Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Perform technical functions that are within the scope of this position such as configuring, coding, testing, data loads, and scripting
- Document the progress and other details relating to the work being performed within the appropriate PTC’s system(s) of record
- Perform and coordinate the Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance, and other testing as specified by the PTC following the PTC’s IT Quality Management Playbook
- Document and demonstrate changes (Showbacks) to stakeholders
- Work with the PTC system administration team to have the changes code and peer reviewed then implemented into PROD
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer on the changes, as requested by the PTC
- Provide guidance and support to the application support team, as needed, for troubleshooting issues or answering questions as directed by the PTC
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Lead and participate in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems
- Work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned
- Adhere to the PTC standards, policies, and procedures
- Utilize various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties
- Perform tasks and other duties as assigned by the PTC
