Position: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Westlake, Texas (hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ month contract
Contract Type: W2 - we are unable to work C2C, we are unable to sponsor visas
Pay Rate: $70.00+/hour
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
7+ years of experience as Data Engineer
5+ years of hands on experience building data processing frameworks
5+ years of hands on experience with developing and maintaining efficient and scalable data pipelines leveraging PySpark and workflow orchestration tools
1+ years experience in using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
5+ years of Python programming
Experience with SQL and database management systems
Experience with Linux
