Risk Manager
Salary: 175k-200k base salary
Hybrid White Plains (3 days per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's cyber and enterprise risk. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and protect our valuable assets.
Responsibilities:
- Risk Management Program: Develop and manage a robust risk management program aligned with industry best practices (e.g., OCTAVE, NIST RMF, COSO).
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify critical risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Third-Party Risk Management: Evaluate and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Risk Governance: Establish and maintain a risk governance framework, including the development and tracking of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Risk Communication: Clearly communicate risk information to stakeholders, including the Risk team and senior leadership.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritize risks in a dynamic and evolving threat landscape.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably with a focus on cyber and enterprise risk.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information security, business administration).
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISM).
- Experience in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and standards.
