Job Title: Traveling Network Lead/Coordinator
Location: Various locations across Texas - This will be a traveling position
Contract Duration: 3 months
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Network Lead/Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of L2/L3 Cisco and MS Teams Engineers, managing onsite staff, and ensuring the successful implementation of network solutions across various locations in Texas. This role requires extensive travel, with all expenses covered by the client.
- Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of L2/L3 Cisco and MS Teams Engineers.
- Determine phone placement, router installations, and conduct analog testing prior to team arrival.
- Effectively manage onsite staff, including meeting with the Point of Contact (POC), managing inventory, and identifying both technical and non-technical processes.
- Serve as an advanced L1 network analyst with experience in migrations.
- Utilize top technologies including Cisco, Genesys, and Microsoft.
- Target locations with 100 phones and above, coordinating with a smaller partner for smaller locations.
- Lead and assist technicians in dealing with end customers.
- Arrive at sites a day or two early to determine phone locations, set up workspaces, and establish contacts at each site.
- Coordinate and move efficiently from location to location.
- Consistently monitor the progress of each project.
- Communicate with clients to determine project start and end points.
- Collaborate with remote teams to ensure everyone is up to speed.
- Travel extensively, with all expenses covered by the client.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a network lead or foreman managing L2/L3 Cisco and MS Teams Engineers.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Genesys, and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience in network migrations and advanced L1 network analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and onsite staff.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Texas.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week commitment.
