Roles and Responsibilities:
Onboarding
▫︎ Git repository configuration file generation
▫︎ Midrange requests (ServiceNow)
▫︎ TLS Certificate requests
▫︎ Redis Enterprise (RE) deployments
▫︎ DynaTrace Onboarding requests
Support
▫︎ BC Events (testing and actual)
▫︎ ServiceNow incident remediations
▫︎ ServiceNow Change Requests/CTASKs (typically PROD only)
▫︎ Assist mnemonics in addressing reported RE-related vulnerabilities on RE clusters/servers
▫︎ Address FAQs in PNC Redis Group Customers-MT chat channel
▫︎ Submit RedisLabs Support Requests/Support Packages on behalf of mnemonic
▫︎ Coordinate mnemonics/RedisLabs Support Account Management meetings (when necessary)
Maintenance and Planning
▫︎ CL0 designation: fulfillment of required tasks to become CL0
▫︎ SCR onboarding coordination and support
▫︎ Research, test and design net-new capabilities
• Potential use of GTMs
• Resolution of missing/broken OS packages due to patching
• Automation of RE software upgrades
Documentation and Reporting
▫︎ Maintenance of the PNC Redis Group Confluence space
▫︎ Develop, deploy and maintain reports on the ELK stack
• Redis Enterprise Endpoints Registry
• Redis Enterprise Licenses Report
• RE Clusters Wave Patching Status Report (future use)
▫︎ Develop a prerequisites validation check script (future use)
Must Have Technical Skills:
- Linux
- Scripting (bash)
- Java/Python or similar
- Infrastructure code - code management
- G.I.T
- Ansible
