The services offered at Meadowood Health and Rehabilitation Center are post acute care rehabilitation, long term custodial and Dementia care within the 100 bed facility.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager provides HR support for a wide variety of activities of human resources including employee relations, aspects of recruiting, new hire orientation, leave of absence processing, and benefits education. The main responsibility of the Manager is to provide human resources support to the O’Connor Woods Executive Director and employees of the campus.
Essential Functions:
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
- Conducts timely and thorough employee related investigations as required to include written summary of findings to appropriate management
- Serves as the driving force in the development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of the employee training programs and mandatory in-services. May be in coordination with Eskaton HR Department.
- Provides required employee trainings, such as new hire orientation, supervisor training, harassment training, etc.
- Provides support and guidance to employees and management through strong working relationship and a comfort level to work with all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Communicates with all staff effectively, accurately and in detail as appropriate. Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager with an excellent working knowledge of state and federal employment law. Prefer experience with employer groups of 100+ employees at a single site.
- PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certifications strongly preferred.
Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test, health screen, TB test and criminal background check.
