PROCUREMENT MANAGER

US Solar is hiring a Procurement Manager who will manage estimation and procurement on behalf of US Solar’s ever-growing fleet of solar and energy storage assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Development and Operations teams to produce and update early-stage project budgets and cash flows
- Establish standard pricing models for labor and materials by market, project size and project type
- In collaboration with our Operations team, create and maintain US Solar’s Approved Vendor List, including a vendor and consultants library; technical specifications; installation manuals; warranties; bankability information, etc.
- The materials to estimate and purchase include: modules, inverters, DAS, racking and single-axis tracker, BESS, transformers, switchgear, MV equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors and suppliers to stay updated with current and emerging market trends
- Create and administer Requests for Proposals for materials purchasing
- Negotiate Purchase Agreements and prepare Purchase Orders; work with internal stakeholders to gain approval for expenditures
- Track order status from order placement through delivery
- Hold vendors and suppliers accountable for delivery timelines, material quality and in record keeping

Requirements
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Supply Chain management, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role or utilizing similar core proficiencies
- Solar PV and Energy Storage experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
