Are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team.
As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee and coordinate all field operations for construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Oversee all field operations for assigned construction projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules and work plans.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety measures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and take corrective actions.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all work performed meets the required quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
Subcontractor Management:
- Manage relationships with subcontractors.
- Ensure subcontractors are performing their work in accordance with contract requirements.
- Resolve disputes with subcontractors.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate field personnel.
- Provide training and development opportunities for field personnel.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and other required documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
