IDR has a brand-new opening with our Financial Services client for a hybrid Chargeback Analyst opportunity. This role will research, initiate and respond to credit card chargebacks and retrieval requests. If you are looking to join a stable and growing team please apply today!
Responsibilities of the Chargeback Analyst:
- Analyze documentation to determine chargeback eligibility.
- Collect and prepare additional documentation as needed.
- Process chargebacks and rebuttals, including issuing credits or debits.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers about case statuses.
- Report fraud and escalate processing issues as needed.
Requirements of the Chargeback Analyst:
- Experience with Reg E and Reg Z reason codes
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic understanding of bankcard association transactions processing and charge back rules
