Moore Colson has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated Assurance Operations Assistant to join our growing team in Atlanta! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative or word processing role with preference given to those with a background in professional services firms. Responsibilities include providing clerical support through administrative systems, procedures, and policies, as well as managing and completing various administrative projects. A key aspect of this role is to work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and enhance overall workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce a variety of materials including confidential letters, presentations and financial reports
- Format and edit documents to ensure they comply with firm standards and branding guidelines
- Ensure accurate, precise and error-free documents are delivered to clients in a timely manner
- Update client project budgets and enter information within client management system
- Assist with document archiving as appropriate for the engagement
- Handle other administrative tasks and special projects, as required
- Provide reception relief, as needed.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative or word processing role required. Experience in a professional services firm preferred, and audit support experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat or similar
- Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills are required to handle competing priorities, meet multiple deadlines and quickly adapt to projects on short notice
- Provide support to Moore Colson professionals and staff; and collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work additional hours, including overtime and weekend hours required during peak business periods (January through April)
- Consistently seeks to improve processes.
