About the Role:
The Quality Engineer will assist in the development of robust Quality Planning tools in order to ensure conformance of manufactured hardware to all Customer requirements. This is an opportunity to serve as a liaison between Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production and help resolve any issues that might arise during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Create ballooned drawings, Inspection reports, and In-process Inspection reports
- Assemble, review and upload required documentation from product conception through delivery
- Review Manufacturing processes
- Monitor and create workflows
- Support the Inspection Department regarding specification interpretation, measuring assistance, and workflow
- Compare Material Test Reports, and Special Process certifications to Customer, Regulatory and industry standards and specifications
- Work with the QA Manager to perform capability studies, Gauge R&R studies, and other statistical techniques
- Enter and track non-conformance data
Qualifications:
STEM Degree with experience in a manufacturing environment
Required Skills:
Highly motivated, detail oriented, personable, with the desire to interact with multiple departments and managers. Experience in an Aerospace environment preferred.
