As the Supervisor, you will:
Take the lead on enforcing a rigorous, insights-driven analytics process and manage the team to ensure that they efficiently produce high-quality, accurate work and fulfill all necessary day-to-day analytics deliverables.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Strategic Development
- Provide analytical insights for media and marketing recommendations
- Build measurement plans that determine campaign success against client objectives
- Recommend measurement strategy using predictive analytical concepts
- Develop an intimate knowledge of the client’s brand and product details
- Be proactive & independent: Show interest in constantly learning and growing
- Proven interest or passion for media & television entertainment
- Understand & explain the interplay between television/streaming content, pricing, and offers from services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, AppleTV, Max, Paramount+, ESPN+, etc.
Integration
- Work collaboratively with multiple groups both internally and externally (client and 3rd party agencies)
- Take the lead on working with Strategy and Investment teams
- Manage workflow and process procedures are followed and manage expectations accordingly
Manager & Mentor
- Represent Canvas Worldwide professionally with clients and industry
- Able to direct team and foster an environment for growth and learning
- Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internally
- Able to escalate and raise flags when deliverables or project goals are at risk
- Ensure the team is informed of a broader view of client needs and strategies
- Provide oversight on junior staff to ensure work is 100% error-free
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, or similar quantitative discipline
- 4-7 years of experience in campaign analytics, customer acquisition, attribution, and consumer research. Media experience is preferred.
- Fluent with statistical analysis like A/B testing, hypothesis testing, p-value, causal inference, MMM models, incrementality testing
- Comfortable with R/Python and querying relational databases
- 2+ years of mentoring and developing staff
- Experience with television entertainment and streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, AppleTV, Max, Paramount+ ESPN+, etc., is preferred.
- Experience with subscription-based services is preferred.
- Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in teasing insights into a story for non-statistical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage clients
- Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Proven experience and skills in data visualization and presenting data
- Experience with PowerBi, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
- Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through
- Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
