SAP Lead Developer
Full-Time/Perm Position
Hybrid work schedule (2 days remote / 3 days onsite)
We are in search of an experience SAP developer with strong S/4 HANA and BTP configuration experience. This lead will be responsible for responsible for S/4 HANA developments leveraging RAP programming model, BTP configurations and testing to support applications and create end-to-end solutioning.
The SAP Lead developer will also develop a comprehensive understanding of the business requirements and collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, configure and develop solutions, execute deliverables, and ensure delivery of business solutions. You will also work closely with functional analysts and technical resources to design and implement solutions, support testing functions such as unit tests, integration tests, business process tests and volume/performance tests.

Other responsibilities include:
- Provide solution alternatives, recommendations and estimates for SAP S/4 HANA and BTP configuration and development.
- Use your technical knowledge to come up to speed on new technologies and tools required for SAP development and support.
- Establish and enforce development standards and guidelines, provide inputs into development approach and ensure development aligns to long-term strategies and architectural principles.
- Leverage agile tools and methodologies for development.
- Develop technical specifications based on functional specifications, review technical documentation, participate in code reviews, provide feedback and provide sign-off.
- Participate in and support testing of development objects. Ensure testing is documented and executed.
- Identify and raise issues and develop alternatives to mitigate issues and identify cutover/implementation tasks and support cutover activities.
Qualifications:
- IT SAP Development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA, BTP services, Cloud Foundry, RAP/CAP Framework and Java Scripting.
- Working knowledge of SAP HANA technical concepts, such as AMDP, CDS, OData, RAP, and architecture.
- Hands on experience using SAPUI5 Programming techniques including analysis and design of specifications, development, and testing.
- Development experience in Business Application Studio

- Hands on experience using the SAP Business Technology Platform services such as HTML Repository, Application Autoscaler, Destination Service, Application Logging Service, CICD Service, CPI integration, Authorization and Authentication Services
- Experience developing extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Understanding of NodeJS, CICD Pipelines, Automated Testing, Docker/Kubernetes, NestJS, ReactJS, and Typescript
- Experience leading teams in onshore/offshore model
